Postcard Contest 2008
We Have Lots of Winners!
Response to our 2008 Endangered Species Contest--“Ozark River and Stream Habitat—We Gotta Have It!”--was overwhelming! We received more than 2,600 hand-illustrated postcards from more than 60 Missouri schools and homeschoolers.
Choosing the winners was a tough job! Each and every postcard showed individual flair, and most did a great job of depicting an endangered Missouri Ozark river and stream species.
We'll announce next year's contest challenge in the coming months, so be sure to check back in 2009.

The first-place postcard from each of the four age classes will be printed and sold in MDC Nature Shops, with proceeds going to endangered species habitat conservation. That means the winners’ artwork and names will be known throughout the state. How cool is that?!
