CWD Testing Results

This application allows you to look up individual results for deer submitted to MDC for CWD testing.

  • Results from deer sampled in the CWD Management Zone may take up to 4 weeks from the time of sample collection. Results from deer sampled in other parts of the state may take longer.
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that you do not consume meat from deer that test positive for CWD. If you choose to follow this recommendation, MDC recommends that remaining meat or carcass parts be disposed of in a permitted sanitary landfill.
  • If you have questions about test results, please contact our Central Regional Office and Conservation Research Center at 573-815-7900.
