Bradyville Natural Area

A 139-acre portion of the Otter Slough Conservation Area about eight miles southwest of Dexter in Sections 5, 8 and 9, T24N, R9E, Valley Ridge 15 min. topographic map. Access is by foot from a parking area 0.5-mile south of the natural area. Designated March 25, 1972.

Natural Features--Several types of bottomland forest and swamp, and characteristic wildlife of the Lowlands Section of the Mississippi Lowlands Natural Division. Trees on the area include sweet gum, tupelo, bald cypress and overcup, willow and post oaks. Copper iris and spider lily grow here. The area is owned by the Department of Conservation.
