Yellow Creek Natural Area
A 617-acre portion of Yellow Creek Conservation Area in the SW1/4 of Section 13 and all of Section 14 except the SW1/4, T55N, R21W, Mendon 7.5 topographic map. Access is by foot or boat. Designated August 29, 1989.
Natural Features
Wet-mesic bottomland forest, creek and small river-prairie of the Grand River Section of the Glaciated Plains Natural Division. The creek is unchannelized with an outstanding forest border. Yellow Creek Natural Area is owned and managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
