Sandy Creek Natural Tunnel Natural Area

A 20-acre area on private land about six miles northwest of Whiteside in the E1/2, NE1/4 of Section 15, T51N, R2W, Eolia 7.5 min. topographic map. Access by landowner's permission. Designated October 24, 1980.

Natural Feature--A natural tunnel in Burlington limestone, a limestone glade and cliff, and headwaters stream of the Lincoln Hills Section of the Glaciated Plains Natural Division. An informational brochure is available for this area. The area is closed to hunting, fishing and collecting of any kind. This area is owned and managed by Bridle Spur Hunt Club.
