The Andy Dalton Shooting Range includes a 100-yard, baffled, rifle/pistol range with 20 covered booths. Two of these meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. Two overlaid skeet/trap fields also are available for shotguns, along with a shotgun patterning range with full-size turkey targets provided. We also now have 4 trap & Skeet Fields for Public Use.

The most popular times are just before deer and dove seasons. Along with hunters and those who target practice, law enforcement agencies and various groups are able to reserve the range & outdoor education center facilities for organized activities. The staff produces a monthly newsletter to alert subscribers of upcoming events.

September 14th through April 14th
Monday and Thursday—9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday—12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

April 15th through September 13th
Monday—9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday—9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday—12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays for group use. Closed all state holidays. These hours are subject to change. Please call for updated hours.

Rifle/Pistol Range: Rifle/pistol range$3 per hour per booth. First hour paid in advance, remainder at checkout. Twenty-point, covered outdoor firing line with target sockets at 7, 15, 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Bench rest and seat provided for shooters, with seating available for spectators. Paper bull’s-eye targets and target stands. Hearing and eye protection required and available.

Trap/Skeet Ranges: $3 per person per round of 25 clay birds. First round paid in advance, remainder at checkout. One trap field, one skeet field, two trap/skeet overlay fields.

Shotgun Patterning Range: $3 per hour. First hour paid in advance, remainder at checkout.

Static and 3-D Archery Ranges: $3 per hour. First hour paid in advance, remainder at checkout. 3-D targets of deer, turkey, bear, coyote, groundhog and raccoon.

Training Center: Includes indoor classroom and outdoor pavilion. Both facilities must be scheduled at least two weeks before event date.

50-seat Indoor Classroom: Free for Hunter Education programs. Available for groups and meetings for $20 per hour.

Outdoor Pavilion: Free for meetings or classes that require a relaxed setting.
