Note:
- These reports are completed during the Conservation Order and are updated only when bird numbers or other conditions change significantly.
- During the Conservation Order, residents and nonresidents age 16 years and older need only a migratory bird permit.

Have drawn almost all of flood waters off of pools along Grand River to prepare for construction work. Starting to draw down some of the east side pools. Have seen very few snow geese in the area over the last couple of days and feel like most snow geese have migrated north of this area. |

Area staff checked and reported no snow geese present on Silver Lake this morning. The feeling is that there may be a few snow geese mirating over, but not stopping here. |

Snow goose numbers have varied from a few thousand to 20,000 plus on a daily basis. Geese are roosting and loafing on the south end of the reservoir by the dam and trading out to feed to the west and north. |
