GRAPHIS Adans.

Graphis eulectra - cited from Boone Co. by Berry (1936, 1937); the 1937 report forms the basis for the literature report in Gier & Kendrick (1972) [as Phaeographis eulectra]. The specimen on which these reports are based, Berry 224 (UMO), as well as another Berry determination as this taxon, Berry 257 (UMO), is Hysterium pulicare Pers., a black, lirelliform, nonlichenized fungus. According to Harris (1994), G. eulectra is known only from the type collection in the White Mountains of New England.
