The next meeting of the Conservation Commission was set for March 20 at the Holiday Inn, Joplin.

PRESENTATIONS:

The Commission received the 2002 Sport Fish Restoration Project Award from Virgil K. Moore, president of the Fisheries Administrators' Section, American Fisheries Society, in recognition of the Lost Valley Hatchery, Visitor Center and Kids' Fishing Pond.

ADMINISTRATION:

The Commission also took the following action:

• Accepted a bid of $4,089,180 from Coil Construction, Inc., of Columbia for construction of the Cape Girardeau Conservation Campus and approved a staff recommendation to enter into a contract.
• Approved reclassifications and other personnel changes.
• Approved the purchase of approximately 80 acres in Worth County as an addition to the Emmett and Leah Seat Memorial Conservation Area (CA).
• Accepted a donation of 9.5 acres in Ripley County as an addition to Mudpuppy CA.
• Approved modifications to the Department's policy, Grants and Cooperative Agreements Policy, in the Business Policy Manual.
• Suspended or revoked all hunting and fishing privileges of 482 people in accordance with the terms of the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact.
• Suspended or revoked all hunting and fishing privileges of 60 people who are not in compliance with applicable child support laws.
• Suspended privileges of the following 15 people for Wildlife Code violations:
