The Conservation Commission met Jan. 22 and 23 at Empire Bank in Marshfield. Commissioners present were:

The next meeting of the Conservation Commission was set for March 12 at St. Charles.
The Commission met with the Southwest Regional Landowners Council to discuss subjects of mutual interest. Following the informal meeting, the Commission held a closed executive session.
The Commission approved changes to the policy regarding field trials on conservation areas. These changes clarify responsibilities as they relate to federal interests in Conservation Department lands, with no impact on the way the Department currently manages field trials.
