The Conservation Commission met Nov. 15 and 16 at Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge, Mound City.
Commissioners present were:

The Commission set its next meeting for Dec. 15 and 16 at Conservation Department Headquarters in Jefferson City.
PRESENTATION:

REGULATIONS:
The Commission removed the no-boating restriction from the Theodosia Arm of Bull Shoals Lake in Ozark County from November 15 through February 15.
ADMINISTRATION:
The Commission took the following action:
- Authorized entering into a contract with Meramec Mechanical, Inc., of Fenton for construction of an oxygenation system at Roaring River Fish Hatchery in Barry County for $412,000, plus a contingency fund of $41,000.
- Authorized entering into a contract with Meyer Electric Co., Inc., of Jefferson City for an electrical upgrade at Blind Pony Hatchery in Saline County for $611,114, plus a contingency fund of $61,000.
- Authorized entering into a contract with R. L. Persons Construction, Inc., of Poplar Bluff for construction of an oxygenation system at Montauk Fish Hatchery in Dent County for $486,000, plus a contingency fund of $49,000.
- Authorized entering into a contract with R. L. Persons Construction, Inc., of Poplar Bluff for an upgrade of the Red Star Access on the Mississippi River in Cape Girardeau County for $398,917, plus a contingency fund of $40,000.
- Approved the purchase of 334 acres in Jefferson County to be named LaBarque Creek Conservation Area (CA).
- Approved the purchase of 171.32 acres adjoining LaBarque Creek in Jefferson County to be named the LaBarque Creek CA.
- Approved the sale of 114 acres in Newton County.
- Approved the purchase of approximately 300 acres as an addition to Reform CA in Callaway County.
- Approved the sale of approximately 1.5 million board feet of timber on 832 acres of Sunklands CA in Shannon County.
- Approved the sale of approximately 2.4 million board feet of timberon 792 acres of Angeline CA in Shannon County.
- Approved four projects to benefit the lower Osage River and Lake of the Ozarks using a $1 million settlement from AmerenUE.
- Suspended hunting and/or fishing privileges of eight Missouri residents for Wildlife Code violations. Those whose privileges were suspended are:
