MDC seeks bids for August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area Exterior Office Renovations

ST. CHARLES, Mo.—The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is seeking bids from qualified contractors for exterior renovations to the MDC St. Louis Regional Office Building on the August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area in St. Charles, Mo. MDC will be holding a pre-bid meeting for interested contractors at the MDC St. Louis Regional Office on Thursday, April 4 at 1 p.m.

The work involves both the main office building and pavilion. Work includes but is not limited to; replacement of existing roofing with new standing seam metal roofing, replacement of damaged sheathing as required, replacement and infill of skylights and insulation.  Other work on the project includes construction of a light shelf at the east and west entrances and repairs to concrete tilt-up panels, along with other exterior and interior work as indicated in the Contract Documents.

MDC will accept bids until the Public Bid Opening which will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday April 25, and available via tele-conference at 1-415-655-0002, meeting number (access code): 2661 572 7574.  The estimated range of the project is $2,028,900 - $2,539,100.
