Good

This is what the dream of a litter-free roadside looks like.

Bad to Good

The Lake Road Cleanup on the west side of the Lake of the Ozarks was a great success once again! In April, 2002, concerned citizens collected (4) dumpsters for a total of 16 tons, (4) 16 foot trailers full of appliances, (2) 16 foot trailers full of scrap metal and 170 old tires.

The cleanup covered all lake roads from Gravios Mills to Greenview. Thanks to this winning project, the west side of the lake is a cleaner, safer and more attractive place to live. For more information or to help with the effort, contact the Lake of the Ozarks West Chamber of Commerce at (473) 374-5500.

Ugly
