TENTATIVE AGENDA
The following items will be on the agenda when the Regulations Committee meets at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, in the Central Office Auditorium at Department Headquarters:
- Consideration of the final report from the Permit Restructuring and Pricing Committee, including recommendations to change associated rules in Chapters 5, 7, 9, 11 and 20 in the Wildlife Code of Missouri.
- 10:30 a.m. Bill Pittinger, Brumley Missouri Whitetail Breeders and Hunting Ranch Association Purpose: To present information on raising whitetail deer.
- Recommendation from Wildlife Division to amend 3 CSR 10-11.140 Camping and 3 CSR 10-11.160 Use of Boats and Motors to remove Overton Bottoms from the list of department areas. The Corps of Engineers owns the area and MDC no longer manages it.
- Recommendation from Wildlife Division to amend 3 CSR 10-4.111 Endangered Species to remove the barn owl, bald eagle and western fox snake because these species are no longer considered as endangered in Missouri.
- Recommendation from Wildlife Division to amend 3 CSR 10-9.110 General Prohibition; Applications to add dusty hog-nosed snake, Kirtland's snake, and western fox snake to the list of species that may not taken or possessed alive by Missourians without permit.
- Update on Wildlife Harvest Status Report – Small Game Harvest Survey – 2007-2008 – Resource Science Division
