MDC programs and activities
The Department offers a number of programs, activities and opportunities to introduce young people to the wonders of outdoor Missouri and the fun of conservation.
The Missouri Conservation Frontiers Program helps youth learn about Missouri’s natural resources and how to enjoy and protect them. The Stream Team Program gives groups of all ages the chance to adopt, learn about and clean up Missouri’s beautiful waterways.
You can’t beat field trips and outdoor skills education for getting youth outside and excited about nature. Excellent conservation field trip and outdoor education destinations include nature centers, shooting ranges and outdoor education centers, hatcheries, conservation areas, natural areas, trails and state parks.
